Spider-Man Reboot is ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’; Official Costume Image
0
Sony Pictures released the first image of Andrew Garfield in costume (sans his mask) for the Spider-Man reboot, now officially titled The Amazing Spider-Man, just over a month ago. Sony has released another photo now, that offers a better look at the webslinger’s new duds in full – one that also comes with a more professional sheen (and is not the handiwork of devoted onlookers).
This new pic additionally provides a straightforward glance at Spidey’s artificial web shooters - but not so much his glistening silver foot gear (for that, check out the set photos and pics from the reboot’s Los Angeles shoot).
Director Marc Webb is currently right in the middle of principal photography on The Amazing Spider-Man, but that hasn’t ...

As Friday’s episode of Smallville revealed, it’s going to take more than an elegantly-encased syringe of cyanide to kill the bipolar clone of Lex Luthor.
The reason for this – as many fans may have guessed – is because Alexander Luthor (Lucas Grabeel) is more than just a rapidly-growing Lex Luthor replicate, he’s actually a clone of Lex Luthor and Clark Kent (Tom Welling). This genetic creation also goes by the name Kon-El, Conner Kent and SUPERBOY!
While last week’s episode hinted that something is amiss with Tess Mercer’s (Cassidy Freeman) maternal experiment, Alexander Luthor’s true identity won’t be revealed until the March 4th episode of Smallville, entitled “Scion.” For those ...

Robin McLeavy Signs Up For ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’
0
Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov is favoring up-and-comers over established stars to appear in his big screen take on the supernatural horror/biopic mashup Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and has now signed on a lesser-known actress to portray the wife of the titular axe-wielding politician.
Australian starlet Robin McLeavy has landed the role of Lincoln’s longtime spouse, Mary Todd, in Bekmambetov’s adaptation, and will help fill out the cast alongside recent additions like Anthony Mackie and Dominic Cooper.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter spans the life of the 16th U.S. president (Benjamin Walker), a stout-hearted lad from Kentucky who learns that his mother was killed by blood-thirsty monsters and is taught how to combat them by one Henry Sturges (Cooper), himself a creature of the night. Lincoln eventually befriends another vampire slayer ...

ThunderCats Movie Footage is Dead on Arrival
0
It’s been just shy of a year since we had news regarding the oft-delayed ThunderCats feature film. Warner Bros was, rightfully, quick to abandon the idea of utilizing flesh and blood (and fur) actors to portray the iconic humanoid-feline heroes -- setting animators to work on a TMNT-esque ThunderCats CGI film.
Now, nearly three years later, test footage from the now defunct CGI project has made its way online -- raising the question will we ever see a modern ThunderCats film on the big screen?
Last February we reported on the possibility that the ThunderCats film was still alive but after almost a year of silence regarding the project, not to mention the positive buzz for Cartoon Network’s upcoming animated TV series reboot, it’s becoming increasingly likely that the CGI project was ...

Phillip Noyce Looking To Direct ‘Hunter Killer’
0
Phillip Noyce may have passed on helming Salt 2 with Angelina Jolie, but that doesn’t mean the former Jack Ryan franchise director is hanging up his action hat just yet. He’s currently in discussions to direct a different thrill ride (one that also involves Russians, no less), titled Hunter Killer.
Don Keith and George Wallace’s as-yet unpublished novel “Firing Point” is the source material for the project, which District B13 filmmaker Pierre Morel was previously circling, but has seemingly passed on.
Moviehole has pointed out that while Noyce is currently attached to direct a number of future projects (most of which are stuck in development limbo right now), he could end up getting to work on Hunter Killer next. The film is described as being a Black Hawk Down-style action piece that revolves ...
