A Fifth "Mission" & Second "Top Gun" Coming?

Stellar reviews for the new "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" has lead to strong early box-office for the action tentpole. As a result there's already talk of a fifth entry in the series.
Moviehole reportedly spoke to someone in production at Paramount who said they’re “extremely happy” with how well the film was doing and that they’ve heard production company Skydance definitely wants to get going quickly on not just a fifth 'Mission' but the proposed "Top Gun" sequel also in the works with Paramount distributing both.
Helping things along is that Skydance head David Ellison, who financed 'Ghost Protocol', will also apparently be forking over the coin to make these two projects - making them understandably tempting for Paramount to pursue. At last report "X-Men: First Class" writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz will pen the 'Gun' sequel.
Shooting however on either one would be at least a year off with Cruise committed to Joseph Kosinski's "Horizons" (aka. "Oblivion") and Doug Liman's "We Are Mortals" (aka. "All You Need Is Kill").
