Schwarzenegger Sent By Heaven?
0
A while back came the word that Arnold Schwarzenegger's first post-"Expendables 2" project would be a stripped down action thriller called "Black Sands". Turns out it won't be as stripped down as we thought.
The previous report had Arnie playing a loner who wages war against a ruthless weapons manufacturer and his private army in the American Southwest.
Now called "Black Sunday", the film is being described as a cross between "Commando and Constantine". Schwarzenegger tells The Arnold Fans that "I’m a kind of angel. I cannot currently say more about this film.”
Scott Waugh and Mike McCoy ("Act Of Valor") are directing from a script by Sergio Altieri and Kevin Elders which Skip Woods ("A Good Day To Die Hard") performed re-writes on. Filming begins in April.

Scottish actor Ewan McGregor has shelved his feature directorial debut due to a rival movie in production according to The Times of India.
McGregor had been researching a 1968 yacht race to be the subject of his first effort. He tells Nylon Guys magazine - "My wife [production designer Eve Mavrakis] was going to design it, I wasn't going to be in it. And then I found out someone else is doing it. I was gutted."
Still, McGregor intends to try again sometime down the road - "I think it would be so fascinating and satisfying. But I don't pretend... I would be starting right at the bottom."

Idle Hands has gotten their… uh, hands on a pic of an Amazing Spider-Man toy remote control that offers a full-blown sneak peek at just what Ifans’ CGI Lizard face looks like. It pretty much matches previously-released depictions of the character – who is also ...
