It’s been an eventful year for Showtime’s new hit series Homeland. With two Golden Globe awards under their belt, as well as praise from audiences and critics alike, all eyes are on the cable drama as it heads into its second season this fall.
With Homeland being based on the hit Israeli series Hatufim (Kidnapped), you would think that many hints of what’s to come may lie in the source material. Unfortunately, that’s not the case.

‘Jeff Who Lives at Home’ Trailer: Segel & Helms Handle Family Matters

Today we have the trailer for the indie flick Jeff Who Lives at Home, the new family comedy from writer/director/actor Mark Duplass and his writer/director brother Jay Duplass, the duo best known for the dark Oedipal comedy Cyrus with John C. Reilly, Jonah Hill and Marisa Tomei.
In this new film, the Brothers Duplass take a look at the burdens of…well, brotherhood, and the bonds of family that help us through hard times and onto self-realization. With a cast that includes Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon, you can bet that people will be taking notice of this one.

‘Archer’ Season 3 Premiere Review

After a short mini-season arc in the fall (a la Lost), FX’s Archer is now back for its official full third season, kicking things off with a premiere that featured a guest appearance by leading man icon (and Sterling Archer’s longtime man-crush), Burt Reynolds.
The episode (titled “The Man from Jupiter”) was already distinguished by Reynolds’ presence – but it also proved that Archer is truly hitting is comedic stride in season 3.
Things started in the usual Archer fashion: with our master spy (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin) by the bar, courting a few young ladies. The twist comes when Archer bumps into one of the other patrons of the bar – who just so happens to be Burt “Gator” Reynolds. Then comes another twist: Burt isn’t just at ...

‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ German Trailer & TV Trailer

With both Jack the Giant Killer and Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters having been knocked out of the 2012 movie lineup, the stage is now set for Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman to become not only the great fairy tale re-envisioning of the year – but also, one of the more entertaining and action-packed fantasy blockbusters to hit the scene.
Today, we have a new German-dubbed theatrical preview for the Brothers Grimm retelling, along with a minute-long English-language TV preview. Both only feature bits of not-yet-seen footage sprinkled here and there, but the new material is tantalizing enough (ex. Charlize Theron’s evil queen, preparing to take her… uh, milk bath?) that it should help tide everyone over, until the next official domestic trailer for Huntsman is released.
