Seeking Justice Nic Cage Guy Pearce January Jones
Seeking Justice is a new Nic Cage movie that was released overseas in 2011, but won’t be making its U.S. theatrical debut until spring 2012. Today we have the Seeking Justice trailer to share, which paints the film as a twisty thriller centered around some somewhat flimsy ethical dilemmas.

Cage stars as Will Gerard, a man whose wife (played by Mad Men actress January Jones) is violently assaulted by a criminal. Stricken with anger, Gerard is approached by “Simon” (Guy Pearce), a man who claims to represent a group of “concerned citizens” who enact vigilante justice against unpunished offenders roaming the city. Gerard accepts Simon’s offer of vengeance, but the price is high: Simon wants a dirty deed in exchange for a dirty deed, ...

lily collins evil dead javier bardem despicable me 2

Today (for a change) we have a casting update concerning two different people who will NOT be involved with a pair of upcoming films, which occupy completely different ends of the entertainment spectrum: the “unbelievably violent” Evil Dead remake and the kid-friendly 3D toon, Despicable Me 2.

Previously, Oscar-winner Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men) was onboard to lend his vocals to the baddie in the Despicable Me sequel, but he has parted ways with the Illumination Entertainment production. Similarly, Lily Collins (this spring’s Mirror Mirror) won’t be portraying a young drug-addicted woman who ends up having to face off against some literal personal demons in the Evil Dead revamping.

liam neeson the grey movie oscar run

When Open Road Films managed to snag the rights to co-writer/director Joe Carnahan’s The Grey, there was a good deal of buzz about how star Liam Neeson’s performance in the rugged wilderness survival thriller is the sort that virtually screams “Oscar nomination.” However, the film was ultimately not given a limited Oscar-qualifying theatrical run in 2011, which would’ve allowed it to be a contender in the 84th Academy Awards.

Jump to the present and Carnhan is saying that The Grey was not merely “dumped” in January because Open Road feels it doesn’t have awards potential. In fact, the studio plans to re-release the flick in theaters during the fall of 2012, in order to remind Academy members about Neeson’s turn in the film.

The Grey has (at the time of writing this) a 81% Fresh ...

The Walking Dead Season 2.5 Trailer

[WARNING SPOILERS FROM THE FIRST HALF OF THE WALKING DEAD SEASON 2]

-

Fans of AMC’s The Walking Dead were divided in their response to the first half of season 2, which saw Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors stuck in place on Hershel’s (Scott Wilson) farm while they searched for Carol’s daughter Sophia, who went missing after a highway onslaught by a zombie herd.

During the final moments of the season 2 midpoint finale, we learned that Rick and Shane’s (Jon Bernthal’s) big morality debate was all for naught: Sophia was already dead, one of many walkers trapped inside Hershel’s barn. Though that payoff was well worth the wait for some fans, others claimed that the majority of season 2 had ...

[We first published this article three years ago, but with the recent rumblings of a cameo by a certain superhero in The Avengers, we thought it might be a good time to bring this to your attention once again. - Editor]

With X-Men Origins: Wolverine a little under three weeks from release, we here at Screen Rant thought an overview of all Marvel properties (and possibilities) might be in order. Though the new independent studio is now producing their own films, solely distributed by Paramount Pictures, there are a number of iconic characters still residing at Hollywood’s other major studios.

Now that the film division of Marvel Entertainment exists, we’ve seen questions around the inter-webs about certain properties and copyrights concerning top-tier Marvel characters. Many readers have been calling for Wolverine to cameo in the expected 2012 ...
