The extended delay between season 4 and the upcoming season 5 of AMC’s critical darling Mad Men has only heightened excitement to see the next chapter in the ongoing tale of ad man Don Draper (Jon Hamm).

In keeping with show creator Matthew Weiner’s history of playing things close to the chest, the character-centric Mad Men S5 teasers have all been composed of footage from previous seasons, so as to remind viewers about why they love this series so much (without giving away any concrete hints about what’s to come).

A new poster for Mad Men season 5 does legitimately qualify as “new” material – though what exactly the implications of the stylishly and only somewhat subtly provocative one-sheet are, remains a mystery to everyone but Weiner (and he’s certainly not telling).
