Jai Courtney and Bruce Willis in A Good Day to Die Hard

So far we’ve learned that Die Hard 5 is going to be called A Good Day to Die Hard, Bruce Willis is back as John McClane, and plot details include McClane going to Russia to save his son, who it turns out is somehow embroiled in a terrorist plot. The instant the words ‘John McClane’s son’ were glimpsed in Twentieth Century Fox’s synopsis, the Internet exploded with the obvious question of which young actor is worthy enough to play Bruce Willis’ onscreen progeny?

Today we have that answer – but do you agree with the studio’s pick?

Last we heard, names like Ben Foster, Aaron Paul and Liam Hemsworth were being tossed around for the role of John McClane ...

edgar wright johnny depp night stalker remake

We’re only a few months away from the latest whimsical supernatural flick to feature Johnny Depp (the Dark Shadows movie) and there’s already an important update on the quirky A-lister’s next cinematic foray with creatures that prefer the cover of darkness: The Night Stalker, a reboot of the franchise concerning the antics of tabloid reporter Carl Kolchak.

Depp is co-producing the Night Stalker project (via his Infinitum Nihil banner) with Walt Disney Pictures. The Mouse House has gone ahead and attached a noteworthy director to the project, even though a screenwriter has yet to be hired on. It’s a situation identical to that of the Thin Man remake, where Warner Bros. brought Rob Marshall and Depp onboard to direct and star in the flick without a complete early script draft on hand.

Edgar Wright ...

Mad Men Season 5 Teasers Trailers

We recently posted a teaser trailer for Mad Men season 5 that featured Don Draper (Jon Hamm) coming back to the airwaves for another round of sex, swagger and salesmanship. And, while it is always good to see the captain back on deck, Mad Men is in large part successful because we love the rest of the crew just as much.

It’s only fair then that the supporting cast of AMC’s award-winning  period drama get their moment to shine – so if you’ve been missing Betty (January Jones), Joan (Christina Hendricks), Roger (Jon Slattery) and the rest of  the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce family, today’s collection of Mad Men season 5 teasers should be satisfying.

Due to contract issues, Mad Men has been off the air for about a ...

‘American Reunion’ Trailer Has More Heart & Less Raunch

american reunion movie trailer

Previous red-band American Reunion trailers have focused on selling the film as yet another healthy dose of naughty deeds and awkward sex humor served up as only the American Pie franchise can; whereas the all-audiences promos have been relatively tame in comparison, emphasizing the heartfelt drama and character dynamics that helped make the previous films popular with moviegoers (at least, those released in theaters).

The new full-length U.S. trailer for American Reunion doesn’t stray from that path, featuring more scenes where the American Pie gang remember the good ol’ days and reconnect with one another – with the occasional raunchy bit (like Stifler relieving himself in some punk teenagers’ water cooler) thrown in for good measure.

American Reunion picks up with the original American Pie clan ten years after the events of the first film, when they all ...
