Matthew Perry Reuniting With ‘Friends’ Producer For NBC Comedy Pilot

NBC has locked in Friends alum Matthew Perry to headline its new pilot Go On, a single-camera comedy created by former Friends executive producer Scott Silveri.
Perry will star as an irreverent yet charming sportscaster who, after suffering a deep loss, must learn how to move forward with the help of mandatory group therapy. Perry will also serve as a producer on the project.
Joining Perry’s support group are actresses Suzy Nakamura (Men of a Certain Age) and Julie White (Law & Order: SVU, Transformers). Nakamura will play a woman who is attempting to deal with her parents divorce, while White will play a recently widowed woman who’s stuck in the anger stage of grief. Todd Holland (Malcolm in the Middle) is linked to direct the pilot.
