Mad Men Infographic

After a long hiatus, the Mad Men season 5 premiere is just around the corner. With the premiere set to air this Sunday, what better way to get in the Draper spirit than to take a look at the man himself (in infographic form).

Breaking down the life of Don Draper, the infographic compares the cost of Draper’s life in 1962 with what the equivalent would be in today’s world. While living the life of Don Draper may have been difficult in 1962, it appears even more so in today’s world – especially with a significant pay cut stemming from what his position would earn now.

The Walking Dead - Glen Mazzara

While The Walking Dead season 2 may have ended with viewers clamoring for season 3, there were still problems that fans had with the past season of the series. Specifically one person: Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies).

Speaking to the press following The Walking Dead season 2 finale, executive producer Glen Mazzara discussed the fans’ not-so-positive opinion of Lori Grimes, as well as what they plan to do with her and Rick’s relationship next season.

Here’s what Mazzara had to say:

I think Lori is a compelling, interesting character. I think she is realistic in a lot of ways and she’s certainly a character that people are talking about. So I don’t find her irritating.

I think it’s interesting that people are so focused on her and I think the work ahead of that is to see where ...

‘Three Stooges’ Online Trailer Is Nonstop Comic Mayhem

three stooges movie trailer

The Farrelly Brothers’ long-gestating film adaptation of The Three Stooges has always been considered an iffy proposition – even when it was originally set to feature an A-list cast with big names like Jim Carrey, Sean Penn, and Benicio Del Toro all lined up to portray the new incarnations of those famously dim-witted, comically-violent siblings.

Moviegoers weren’t exactly blown away by the official Three Stooges trailer, mostly due to ill-conceived elements like an appearance by Snooki from Jersey Shore. It would appear that the Three Stooges marketing team has taken those criticisms to heart, seeing how the film’s new online trailer throws out the pop-cult gags (like swimsuit supermodel Kate Upton’s cameo as a sexy nun) and instead features nothing but nonstop Stooges slapstick madness.

Check out the official synopsis for The Three Stooges, followed by the second trailer:

HBO continues the campaign for Game of Thrones season 2 with a new trailer and some new spots that are each dedicated to one of the “Houses” (i.e., noble familys) who will be vying for the crown of Westeros in season 2.

This upcoming season of GoT tackles the second volume of series creator George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Fire and Ice” book series, which is entitled “A Clash of Kings”. As the title would imply, the vacuum of power left by King Robert Baratheon’s death in season 1 will be the focal point of season 2. As would-be usurpers rise in the various corners of the land, the Lannister family tries to keep young Joffrey established as the rightful king.

The identity of The Doctor’s next female companion has been revealed, with the news that English actress Jenna-Louise Coleman will be portraying a character who hooks up with the eleventh regeneration of the wayward time traveler (as portrayed by Matt Smith) in the upcoming seventh season of the new Doctor Who TV series.

Coleman’s Doctor Who character will reportedly be introduced in the next Christmas special for the beloved sci-fi show. Current DW companion Amelia Pond (Karen Gillan) is slated to make her final appearance on the show during an episode prior to that (more on the matter later).

A BBC press conference was held to formally announce Coleman as the Doctor’s new female sidekick on the series, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year. Current Doctor Who show-runner (and head writer) Steven Moffat has also released the following ...
