This week:
Kiefer Sutherland is out of Touch with 24; Michael Douglas and Jeff Bridges are Dirty Grandpas; Only God Forgives a bruised and battered Ryan Gosling and Chloë Moretz gets Carried away.
1. Fans of 24 have been anxiously waiting for the film version of the show for several years. It looked like the film was set to go into production in April, but it has now been pushed back to next year – at the earliest.
Budgetary concerns appear to be the reason for the delay. Sutherland and producer Brian Grazer believed the movie could be made for just over $40 million, while 20th Century Fox wanted the budget of the film capped at $30 million.

‘Beware the Batman’ Hi-Res Poster & Plot Summary

While DC Entertainment’s most recent foray into live-action – Green Lantern – was a bit of a failure, their animated work, especially on television (Young Justice, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, and the DC Nation shorts) has been, for the most part, consistently entertaining and well-received.
Now comes the announcement – along with a brand-new, high quality poster and a series summary — that Beware the Batman will be joining the DC offerings on Cartoon Network.

The first official publicity still of Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, and new stills from Cosmopolis, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World and The Cabin in the Woods.
A motion poster for Total Recall, one-sheets for To Rome with Love, The Avengers, Battleship, Hick, Safety Not Guaranteed, Rise of the Guardians and The Samaritan.
There's also nine more character posters for Dark Shadows, an amusing poster for TNT's reboot of Dallas, and a poster for Step Up Revolution which is the new title for the fourth "Step Up" film.
An impressive LEGO recreation of The Dark Knight Rises trailer, and a cute The Avengers spoof using the "Friends" opening credits.
