0
The long wait is over as (at the time of writing this) Game of Thrones is about to premiere its second season on HBO. We’ve already provided fans with just about every trailer, featurette, recap, character guide and faq sheet we possibly could, so all that’s really left are the fun bits.
Last but not least before season 2 of GoT kicks off, we have a fun and sexy behind the scenes video about a photo shoot that cast members Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy) and Kit Harington (Jon Snow) did for Rolling Stone. You have to watch it, if only to hear them joke about what it’s like to film scenes of death, despair, incest and rape all day long. Aside from that, we also have a handful ...

Currently, Rob Marshall (Chicago, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) and Billy Ray (The Hunger Games) are developing the remake with Johnny Depp as Nick Charles, and that leaves the other half of the equation – his wife, Nora – yet uncast. Apparently, it’s a role so sought after that eight high-profile actresses are vying for it.
According to Deadline’s Mike Fleming, ...

Sony Pictures May Acquire ‘The Mortal Instruments’
0
Thanks to The Hunger Games having thoroughly demonstrated that The Twilight Saga doesn’t have a monopoly on the young adult demographic, there’s been a renewed push to bring author Cassandra Clare’s popular Mortal Instruments books to the big screen. Screen Gems was previously slated to back the project, but pulled out last year – and with the studio went longtime attached director Scott Charles Stewart (Legion, Priest).
A few weeks back, the first (in potentially several) Mortal Instruments movie adaptations acquired a new director in the form of Harald Zwart (the Karate Kid remake). Jump to the present and Deadline is reporting that Sony Pictures is now in the midst of closing a deal with Constantin Film (The Three Musketeers) to collaborate as the movie’s financial backers.
Swapping Stewart for Zwart should benefit the Mortal Instruments movie, ...

Screenwriting team Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have spent over a year now plugging away at a script for the Cap sequel – and, the most recent word on the project from costar Neal McDonough (Dum Dum Dugan in The First Avenger) was that production would likely begin before 2012 draws to a close.
Hence, the next obvious step for Marvel is to secure a director for Captain America 2. However, you’ll probably be surprised to learn just who is on the shortlist of candidates the studio is said to be eying for the job (right ...
