The recent production notes for "Wrath of the Titans" let slip that Liam Neeson's next film would be an appearance in "The Dark Knight Rises" according to Comic Book Movie.
The news isn't a big shock - Neeson has previously talked about being on-set for a few hours to visit the production. However he previously gave no indication of whether he would appear on screen or was just visiting the cast and crew members at the time.
Now, CNN has asked him about whether he will appear in the film. He responded "I think so. I have no idea what the story is about. Nothing. Nothing. Seriously, I'm not sure if I'm still in it. It's a cameo – let's put it that way – if it still survives.”
Neeson played the main villain role of Ra's Al Ghul in 2005's "Batman Begins" and various hints throughout the production of 'Rises' is that his character would possibly appear in flashback.
