The long wait is over, Sin City fans. The sequel to Robert Rodriguez’ adaptation of acclaimed comic book creator Frank Miller’s dark noir tales is going into production under the official title of A Dame to Kill For.

The news was confirmed by Dimension Films, which sent out an official press release that you can read below.


Filmmakers Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller, along with producer Alexander Rodnyansky, have announced that production will commence on the highly anticipated sequel to 2005’s Sin City, entitled Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.

Bryan Fuller Discusses His ‘Munsters’ Reboot, ‘Mockingbird Lane’

Early script details on the pilot episode for Bryan Fuller’s rebooted take on The Munsters (now retitled Mockingbird Lane) certainly painted a vastly different picture than the one which springs to most people’s minds. That is, when they think of the original, old-fashioned, wholesome 1960s family sitcom – which just happens to revolve around classic Universal monster types – that became all the more popular during the decades following its initial two-season run.

In a recent interview, the Pushing Daisies creator discussed how the vastly different nature of the characters and modern setting featured in Mockingbird Lane paved the way for a title change – while also touching on the divisive issue of remaking and/or rebooting cherished properties (among other things).

Spike Lee’s remake/re-interpretation of Old Boy  continues to anger those who swear by Korean director Chan-wook Park’s version. Regardless of the hate from certain sectors, the American version of Old Boy continues to build an impressive cast, which already includes Men in Black III star Josh Brolin in the lead role, and Silent House‘s Elizabeth Olsen in the lead female role.

Today we have word on the third pivotal part of Old Boy: the villain that torments Brolin’s character in truly twisted ways.

For those who don’t know, Old Boy was a manga (comic) that become the 2003 hit Korean film. ‘My Week with Marylin’ Director Signed on for ‘Click to Connect’

Veteran TV director Simon Curtis started his feature film career with My Week with Marilyn. Now he will follow the acclaimed biopic with something slightly different. Variety has word that Curtis has inked a deal to helm Click to Connect, a project that is being currently set up over at Fox 2000.

According to the trade, the film will be a romantic anthology set in the online dating world. Characters appearing in the film will range in age from their 20s to their 60s. So both technology and past love experiences will play a factor in the characters’ decision making.

Hopefully the movie will be a little more poetic than the vignettes seen in Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve, and something closer to Love Actually. And like all the romantic anthologies ...

‘Dark Knight Rises’ Images Feature Bat-Pads, New Bane Costume, & More


A slew of new promotional stills from The Dark Knight Rises are featured in this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly, along with cast interviews that provide additional insight into the mindset of the villains in Christopher Nolan’s Caped Crusader trilogy concluder.

Those pics have now been officially released online, revealing such memorable imagery as Batman (Christian Bale) conducting some detective work by use of an iPad-like device (Bat-Pad?), Bane (Tom Hardy) wearing a different costume while he literally occupies Wall Street the Gotham stock exchange, Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) showing off her cat-burglar skills – and more.
