Fringe Season 4

The Fringe season 4 finale will soon be upon us. But with no word from Fox regarding their renewal decision for the cult series, the highly anticipated episodes may also serve as Fringe’s series finale.

Fortunately, the producers have made plans for whatever Fox decides to do with the series next year, by having two separate endings, depending on whether or not the series is picked up for season 5.

Speaking with Zap2It, Agent Broyles himself, Lance Reddick, discussed the two different endings – as well as what question won’t be answered in the Fringe season 4 finale:

“Something happens at the very, very end of the season finale. It may or may not stay; I don’t know. It could open up an entire new season.

It could be a cliffhanger, but the thing that’s beautiful about the way ...

Before he sets to work on the currently-in-development Mission: Impossible 5, Tom Cruise has two big sci-fi/action literature adaptations to appear in. First in line is Oblivion, which is being overseen by TRON: Legacy helmer Joseph Kosinski – followed by All You Need Is Kill, a project set to be directed by Doug Liman, of Bourne Identity and Mr. & Mrs. Smith fame (and Jumper infamy).

All You Need Is Kill has also been referred to as both We Are Mortals and We Mortals Are in the past, similar to how Oblivion has on-and-off been reported as going under the alternative title Horizons. The projects’ titles aside, the former of these Cruise-controlled vehicles (sorry) appears to have landed an increasingly-popular leading lady.

We’re some four months into production on J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek 2 (not the official title) – and outside of a few set pics revealing a fight between the film’s mystery villain (Benedict Cumberbatch), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Nyota Uhura (Zoe Saldana), the filmmaker has proven as successful at keeping his sci-fi project under wraps as he did throughout pre-production. Christopher Nolan is probably feeling pretty envious right now, after all the images that leaked while he was shooting The Dark Knight Rises last year.

But we digress.

Today, we have another (vague) image taken from the Star Trek sequel’s set, which comes with the following description from On Location News, via MTV (sidenote: apparently, OLN has no idea how to spell Spock).

Zachary Quinto as [Spock] filming an action scene for the ...

Marvel movie mania (say it three times fast!) is in full swing (Thor pun!), now that The Avengers is finally here for its theatrical debut. (Scroll down to learn about some early production details for Iron Man 3.)

After the many trailers, imagesfeaturettesclips,  interviewsTV spots and early reviews that have revealed (a bit too) much about  Marvel’s superhero team-up blockbuster, we thought it would be a nice change of pace to give fans a look at how this movie was made, rather than samples of what’s in it. The B-roll of behind-the-scenes footage (seen above) helps to do just that.

[UPDATE]: As soon as we posted this, MSN released yet another clip from The Avengers
