In a twist of (not-so-sweet) irony, international audiences will be treated to Marvel’s The Avengers statring next week, while us here in the… well, US, have to wait seven more days to indulge in our superhero movie fantasy.
However, one thing we can all look forward to is the end of the Disney/Marvel’s promotional bombardment. While we’ve enjoyed all the trailers, images, featurettes, clips, interviews, TV spots and early reviews, at this point all the footage and story details are starting to feel like overkill… But so much so that we won’t post today’s new featurette and the stylish new Avengers Mondo posters featuring S.H.I.E.L.D. ‘master assassins’ Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner).

Clearly, Fuller is banking on that not being the case with his next television production: a series based around the infamous Dr. Hannibal Lecter (simply called Hannibal).
Fuller is planning to tell the tale of how Dr. Lecter went from being a respected psychiatrist with a penchant for understanding the psychotic mind – to being exposed as an insane, cannibalistic killer – over the course of some seven seasons, beginning with Lecter’s time spent solving crimes with his eventual captor, FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy).

This upcoming June looks to be a good time for Charlize Theron, seeing how the Oscar-winning blonde bombshell plays a part in two of the month’s (heck, the entire year’s) most anticipated releases: Snow White and the Huntsman and Prometheus. The other half of the equation is director Rupert Wyatt, also known as the English filmmaker who popped up on moviegoers’ radar last year – thanks to his work on Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Variety says that several major ...

It’s been well over a year since we first got word that Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese would be reteaming for an adaptation of Jordan Belfort’s memoir, The Wolf of Wall Street. A couple months back it was reported that shooting on the film would begin this summer – though nothing official had been announced at that time.
Now, Red Granite Pictures who owns the rights to Belfort’s book, has released a proper announcement – asserting that both DiCaprio and Scorsese are, in fact, on-board for the film which will, contrary to earlier reports, start filming in the fall.
The Wolf of Wall Street marks the fifth collaboration between the headlining actor and fan-favorite director – with Gangs of New York (2002), ...

Things have been relatively quiet on the Dark Knight Rises front, as director Chris Nolan completes post-production work on the film. Of course we expect that silence to soon be shattered, as there are already rumors circulating that a final Dark Knight Rises trailer could debut early next month in front of Marvel’s The Avengers.
One thing that has been feeding Batman movie fans during this lull in marketing and promotion for TDKR are the promo images for the film, which have slowly but surely looked online in the last few weeks, giving us detailed looks at the costumes of Christian Bale as Batman and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, respectively. Today we add
