Screen Rant’s Kofi Outlaw Reviews Think Like a Man
Ensemble romantic comedies are often sweeping and superficial looks at the so-called entirety of the dating scene, rather than an investment in a single, deeper story about love. Films like He’s Just Not That Into You or any of the holiday-themed ensemble rom-coms of the last few years – Valentine’s Day, New Year’s Eve - are successes in large part because they attract a wide net of viewers with their star-studded casts. While speculation surrounding which villain Ben Kingsley will be playing in Iron Man 3 has yet to be cleared, the cast of the film continues to grow – today adding Prometheus and Lockout star, Guy Pearce.
According to Variety, Pearce will play the geneticist Aldrich Killian. For those who aren’t familiar with Iron Man lore, Killian and Maya Hansen (Tony Stark’s old friend) create the Extremis technology, which was a tool designed for the military that allowed nanotechnology to bond to a human. Valhalla Entertainment, headed up by The Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, has signed an exclusive production deal with Universal Cable Productions, one production arm of NBCUniversal.

The deal will mark the first of Valhalla Ent.’s overall TV deal and stems from the success of the studio’s first primetime series – AMC’s cult hit The Walking Dead.
Universal Cable Productions senior VPs Richard Rothstein, Chris Sanagustin and Maira Suro released a joint statement Monday, declaring the news:
Gale’s vision, expertise and superb taste make her and the Valhalla team a trifecta win for UCP. We are ecstatic that Valhalla is joining our studio and bolstering our efforts to expand our development ...
