All sorts of shuffling on the release date schedule today, let's get to it.
Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedy "The Dictator" has been pushed back five days to a May 16th release - moving it out of the way of Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows" on May 11th which has been gaining increasing interest in recent weeks.
Ben Affleck's "Argo", the comedic thriller tale of a real-life C.I.A. plan to rescue a group of diplomats from Tehran by having them pose as a movie crew, has been delayed a month to October 12th.
As a result of that move, Ruben Fleischer's period crime drama "Gangster Squad" has been been bumped out of the slot to a 'TBA 2012' release.
Next, Gavin Hood‘s adaptation of Orson Scott Card's sci-fi novel "Ender’s Game" at Summit has been pushed back eight months to a November 1st 2013 release.
Finally, Disney has set the Angelina Jolie-led "Maleficent", a revisionist take on "Sleeping Beauty", for a March 14th 2014 release.
