‘Teen Wolf’ Season 2 Trailer – Instinct Takes Over


MTV’s supernatural thriller Teen Wolf is clawing its way back for a second season this summer. Returning Sunday, June 3, for the first of a two-hour season premiere, Teen Wolf will continue the next night at its regular Monday night time slot. Can’t wait a whole month? Take a sneak peek of the action packed new season above.

In what’s shaping up to be MTV’s answer to The Vampires Diaries, Teen Wolf started off with an ordinary kid, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), who soon takes a walk on the wild side after his fateful encounter with what he thought was just a big dog.

The Ultimate 2012 Summer Movie Trailer


The summer 2012 movie season kicked off in a big way this past weekend with The Avengers – racking up a record breaking $207 million domestic opening weekend box office haul. While you can read our review of The Avengers, hear us talk about the film in a special edition of the Screen Rant Underground podcast, as well as chat about the movie in our Avengers spoilers discussion – we’re already looking forward to what the rest of the summer has to offer movie-lovers.

SR Geek Picks: ‘Avengers’ Weekend Hangover, Star Wars Cupcakes & More…


Welcome to Screen Rant’s “Geek Picks,” where we collect the finest movie-related geekery from around The Web. This week’s edition of Film School Reject‘s Scenes We Love is Marvel movie themed, and has six of the best scenes from all the previous films that led to The Avengers. Most of my favorite Marvel movie scenes come from the first Iron Man (slowly walking away from the explosion, assembling the armor, learning to fly), but I’d love to hear your favorites.

Showtime Developing Crime Drama Series ‘The Angry Buddhist’


Showtime has started development on a new drama series based on an upcoming novel written by Big Love’s Seth Greenland, titled The Angry Buddhist. The book (which is now available) delves deep into the criminal underworld, family dynamics and political deception.

According to the official description, The Angry Buddhist centers around the three Duke Brothers: one a cop studying Buddhism, another an unrepentant criminal, and the third a sly U.S. Congressman running for his third term.

In the midst of the Congressman’s new uphill political battle against sexy charismatic upstart Mary Swain, The three brothers’ lives are forever changed by an unexpected murder, the fallout of which none of the Dukes are prepared for.  Novelist/playwright/screenwriter Greenland will pen the adaptation from Anonymous Content, and in typical Showtime fashion the new series will mix drama with elements of dark humor.

Whitney Cummings Lands E! Talk Show; NBC’s ‘Whitney’ Canceled?

Comedian Whitney Cummings may have inadvertently revealed the cancellation of her NBC comedy Whitney, by announcing her upcoming talk show on E! While there’s been no official word from NBC on the fate of Whitney, E! has declared that it has indeed given Cummings’ new weekly talk show – dubbed Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings - the green light.

Love You, Mean It, which will air Wednesdays this fall along with The Soup, is officially described as “Cummings’ open forum to discuss her favorite topics, which include pop culture and celebrity happenings, life, relationships, sex and more.” Joining Cummings for the ride will be talk show sidekick and stand-up comedian Julian McCullough (Very Funny News).
