First Image of the Governor from ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 3

Since production began several weeks ago, season 3 of The Walking Dead hasn’t exactly been shrouded in mystery. In fact, with series creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman taking point on discussing various highly anticipated additions to the series, fans should be well-educated on what they can expect to see when the new season kicks off this October on AMC.
After a long season on Hershel’s farm that consisted mostly of characters bickering with one another, fans are certainly eager to see the series move past the slow circling-of-the-drain that led to the death of several key characters, so that The Walking Dead can now introduce players like the sword-weilding Michonne (Danai Gurira) and the infamous Governor (David Morrissey).
Even at first glance, the look of Morrissey as The ...

Cartoon Network Adding ‘Teen Titans Go!’ in 2013
0
It’s tough to keep a good superhero team down, and now (although they’ve been off the air for more than five years), Cartoon Network has recently announced it will bring back its popular Teen Titans animated series in the form of the more lighthearted Teen Titans Go!
Cartoon Network initially brought the animated and occasionally super-deformed Teen Titans back as animated shorts, which aired during DC Nation, the network’s hour-long block of superhero programming. Beyond Teen Titans Go!, the shorts and interstitials have featured the likes of Plastic Man, Vibe, as well as the Atom and have apparently become quite the draw in and of themselves.
According to Cartoon Network, the TTG! shorts, featuring a chibi style version of the team, have proven popular enough to warrant joining the growing ranks of DC Nation sometime next year. ...

Movie News Wrap Up: June 9, 2012
0This week:
Abbie Cornish marries RoboCop; Michael Esper keeps up with Ben Affleck in Runner Runner; Dan Aykroyd joins Michael Douglas and Matt Damon Behind the Candelabra and prepare to meet Sir Isaac Newton: Action Hero.
Australian actress Abbie Cornish has been offered a lead role in MGM’s remake of RoboCop which is set to be directed by Jose Padilha. The actress only had twenty seconds to comply.

According to Deadline:
“The Killing‘s Joel Kinnaman has been set to play the title character, a cop who, near death, is turned into an indestructible crime-fighting force, and then begins to remember his past life. Cornish has been offered the role of his wife, who thinks she is a widow.”
This sounds like quite a departure from Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 film. In that film Murphy’s (RoboCop) wife had a very limited role in ...

‘Chuck’s’ Zachary Levi Could Replace Josh Dallas in ‘Thor 2′
0
Superhero movie headlines have been rampant this past week, ranging from reports revealing Warner Bros./DC’s developing plans for (potentially) a shared movie universe to counter that of Marvel’s – and multiple leaks from the set of Iron Man 3 (which officially began production this week). That shouldn’t change in the immediate future, what with the 2012 Comic-Con, the theatrical release date for The Dark Knight Rises, and the start date for shooting on Thor 2 approaching fast.
Today, we have word that Thor co-star Josh Dallas will not reprise his role as Warriors Three member Fandral in the sequel, since he’ll be tied down working on ABC’s Once Upon a Time TV series when production gets underway. However, it appears that Marvel already his replacement lined up and ready to go.
