‘Anger Management’ 90-Episode Pickup Likely; Martin Sheen Joins Cast
Though it has yet to officially happen, FX president John Landgraf has hinted that they’ll be picking up Charlie Sheen’s Anger Management for an additional 90-episodes, after the series exceeded its contractual ratings threshold.
Speaking with the press at the Television Critics Association press tour, Landgraf revealed that episodes 3 – 6 of Sheen’s new series have surpassed the ratings threshold needed to receive the substantial pickup. Waiting until after the tenth episode has aired to make the official announcement, Sheen’s return to television can certainly be called a success – for both the actor and FX.
