Marvel’s ‘Item 47′ Clip: To Thieve or Not to Thieve, That is the Question
0The Marvel Cinematic Universe has some big things on the horizon – Iron Man 3, Captain America: Winter Soldier, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians of the Galaxy and possibly Ant-Man - but to tide fans over until those feature films arrive at a theater near you between 2013 – 2014, we will also be getting some new Marvel “One-Shot” short films, a la The Consultant and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer - the ”Phase One” shorts featuring Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg).

The Dark Knight Rises is being released this week and we’ve all had four years to build our anticipation. Some are anticipating more than others but whenever a huge movie like this gets released I’m always wondering how well our expectations can be managed. Is it really necessary to threaten someone’s LIFE over a film review? A film which you haven’t even seen yet?!! I don’t want to meet the person who answers yes to that question.

Steve Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’ Secures a November Release Date

Lincoln brings together director Steven Spielberg, Oscar-winning method actor Daniel Day-Lewis (Gangs of New York, There Will Be Blood), Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright/screenwriter Tony Kushner (Munich), and a cast overflowing with celebrated thespians, in order to properly realize Abraham Lincoln’s experiences while serving as the Commander-in-chief during the American Civil War.
Spielberg’s Lincoln biopic is one of Screen Rant’s most anticipated films of the year (not to mention, movie geeks in general). The pedigree of the cast, crew, and subject matter alone assures this will be a serious contender during the upcoming awards season.
DreamWorks Pictures has selected November 9th to begin Lincoln‘s theatrical run, mere days after the U.S. Election Day 2012 (that’s in accordance with Spielberg’s expressed desire for the film to not serve as political fodder). Lincoln will start off ...

‘Total Recall’ Cast Explains How the Remake is Different from the Original

Sony Pictures brought the cast and crew of Total Recall to Comic-Con to talk about their new film, which is a mix of the 1990 science fiction blockbuster that starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the original sci-fi story written by iconic author Philip K. Dick.
Before the panel began, Sony presented footage from the new Total Recall and when the cast members arrived, they spoke at length about some of the key differences between this version and the Paul Verhoeven original. Director Len Wiseman joined stars Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, and Bryan Cranston for the discussion.

Charlie Hunnam Talks Love and Psychic Bonds in ‘Pacific Rim’

One of the more anticipated (and currently debated) films at Comic-Con 2012 was Pacific Rim, the sci-fi monster movie epic brought to us by fanboy-favorite, Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy). The film tells the story of monsters plaguing the Earth, and the giant robots humanity uses to fight back against them. At the center of that struggle are two unlikely pilots – played by Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam and Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi – who use a “neural bridge” to link their minds in order to co-pilot an old model robot that could turn out to be humanity’s greatest hope.
