‘The Killing’ Season 3 May Be On Another Network
0
As is now the typical response by studios behind the various television series on the receiving end of the proverbial network axe, the makers of The Killing are reportedly interested in staving off the show’s death by shopping it around to numerous other television networks.
Last week, AMC made the announcement that it would not be seeking a third season of the once critically acclaimed murder mystery, after the second season failed to garner sufficient enough ratings to warrant the series’ continuation.
Of course, it likely won’t be long before the name Netflix pops up as a potential contender for the series, as the streaming content provider is now seemingly obliged to feign some interest in every serialized drama that has been given its walking papers in the past few years. It’s worth noting however, ...

‘The Avengers’ Movie Could Have Featured The Red Skull

Even as close as a few weeks prior to the theatrical release of The Avengers, it was unclear what villains may appear in the film to antagonize Earth’s Mightiest. We knew rather early that Tom Hiddleston would be suiting up as Loki once again after bringing the character to life in Thor the year prior, but rumors offered varied possibilities for who his “army” could be in the film and what other villains could make surprise appearances.
One of those rumors – thanks to merchandising – was that of the Red Skull, and it seemed plausible that Marvel may have wanted to bring back Hugo Weaving to play the unique looking character even for a brief scene in the film. Like Loki, Red Skull is one of the more prominent villains of Marvel ...

Nolan had openly commented that the film would not reference the fan-favorite character, out of respect for the now-deceased actor, but a real-world explanation didn’t stop fans from speculating on where the “Clown Prince of Crime” might have been during Bane’s assault on Gotham City.
Now we’ve got a minute tease regarding the location of The Joker at the time of The Dark Knight Rises – ...

‘Skyfall’ Trailer Preview: James Bond Down
0The plot of the 23rd James Bond flick, Skyfall, remains as shrouded in mystery as the film’s villain (Javier Bardem) and his exact connection to M (Judi Dench). We were treated to a glimpse of the former in the recent Olympics TV spot, while the “remixed” IMAX trailer (currently showing in IMAX screenings of Dark Knight Rises) reveals a pivotal piece of information concerning the faux pas committed by 007′s (Daniel Craig) boss. Otherwise, though, the most important pieces to the puzzle remain hush-hush.
That might change tomorrow, when the full-length domestic trailer for Skyfall is unveiled. In the meantime, we can offer (sigh…) a Skyfall trailer preview.
Skyfall‘s MacGuffin, it turns out, bears a strong (too strong?) resemblance to that in the first Mission: Impossible, as it encompasses the identities of every ...
