Once Upon a Time adds Colin O’Donoghue and Michael Raymond-James

If you’re not yet hooked on ABC’s triumphant storybook drama Once Upon a Time, you might be now, as the hit action/adventure is overloading its second season with more familiar fantasy faces. Premiering with over 13 million viewers, Once Upon a Time was ABC’s largest debut in five years and the show looks to continue its success with new storylines and characters, including Captain Hook and Sleeping beauty.

Making his enigmatic entrance in the fourth episode of the upcoming season, Hook is described to be a never-back-down pirate that will not stop until his enemies are defeated. Fox Striking ‘Fantastic Four’ Deal with Marvel for ‘Daredevil’ Rights (with Joe Carnahan Directing)?

There was a time when Xavier Gens had his eye on producing a grounded, dramatic, Daredevil reboot that followed Chris Nolan’s Batman movies with its portrayal of fellow orphan-turned masked vigilante Matt Murdock. Gens’ project never progressed beyond the conceptual stage, but David Slade become attached to helm Daredevil 2.0 last year. It’s long been rumored the reboot was being influenced by Frank Miller’s famous “Born Again” comic storyline, during Slade’s term as director.

Slade’s commitments to Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal TV series forced him to pass on the Daredevil reboot last month. That news was especially unwelcome by Fox, seeing how the studio’s current deal with Marvel mandates that the film must be in production no later than October 10th of this year (otherwise, the character rights revert ...

Robert Redford Adapting Bestselling Novel ‘Forever’ into TV Series

Robert Redford is looking to make the jump from feature films to the small screen with a TV series adaptation of Pete Hamill’s novel, Forever. The actor-turned-filmmaker will team his Sundance Productions banner with Radical Media and Fremantle Enterprises for the adaptation, which journeys far into the past, specifically New York in 1741.

But this isn’t just another traditional period drama, as the story follows a man who will remain immortal if he never leaves the island of Manhattan. This allows him to see New York grow from just a tiny community with a mix of Irish and English citizens to the thriving Big Apple metropolis it is today.
