‘Dexter’ Season 7 Poster; Images Tease Killer New Characters

Word from the Television Critics Association press tour made it clear that Showtime is interested in a ninth season of their serial killer drama Dexter, even if producers and star Michael C. Hall are currently stating that the eighth season of the show will be the last.

However, two years still have to go by before a final decision can be made. For fans, the focus is really on the forthcoming seventh season of the series – which just debuted an official promo poster along with a few new images that give us our first look at cast members Yvonne Strhovski, Jason Gedrick and Ray Stevenson.

‘Luther’ Creator Talks Movie; BBC Interested in Serial Killer Spin-Off

BBC Plans Luther Spin-Off

Fans of BBC’s triumphant crime drama Luther may have more to look forward to than just the upcoming third season – as series creator Neil Cross is in preliminary talks with the BBC to produce a spin-off miniseries based on sexy psychopathic sidekick Alice Morgan. Should the offshoot take place it would follow the misadventures of the sultry antihero’s in the United States and won’t feature the gruff but lovable John Luther right away. However, Cross is open to the idea of him appearing in future Alice-centric miniseries.

Jimmy Fallon Won't Host Oscars

Versatile funnyman Jimmy Fallon is used to performing in front of live audiences, due to his time spent working as a regular cast member on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, and, currently, as the host of his own NBC late night show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

He’s also hosted numerous award shows, including the MTV Movie Awards (several times), and, most notably, the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards. His seasoned experience in these fields had to play a role in him emerging as a frontrunner to host the 2013 Academy Awards ceremony, but Fallon has since shot down rumors of securing the gig.

In an interview with Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today Show (currently airing in London due to the Olympics), Fallon was very straightforward when asked about hosting the Oscars:
