This week:
It’s The Hunger Games: “Casting” Fire; Mary Steenburgen goes to Last Vegas; writer Nic Pizzolatto mounts the remake of The Magnificent Seven and Steve Pink wants to know About Last Night.
This week has seen a flurry of casting news for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, with E. Roger Mitchell, Alan Ritchson and Bruno Gunn joining the cast of the eagerly awaited adaptation of the Suzanne Collins best-selling novel.

Mitchell has signed on to play Chaff, “a tribute from District 11, Chaff won the 45th Annual Hunger Games and will compete in the Quarter Quell.” Ritchson will take on the role of Gloss, a “former Career tribute from District 1,” while Gunn will play Brutus, a “former Career victor from District 2.”
