It’s the late-October Halloween ‘fright fest’ season, which means horror movies rule the multiplex. We’ve already had reasonably good offerings (as far as fickle horror fans will admit) with the fall films V/H/S and Sinister, but the bigger horror blockbusters will undoubtedly be franchise sequels Paranormal Activity 4 and Silent Hill: Revelation. Today, we have a new image gallery and clips from both films.

Paranormal Activity 4

Paranormal Activity 4 arrives first, continuing the found-footage possession tale started back in 2007 with Oren Peli’s breakout micro-budget hit. After two subsequent sequels (which are actually prequels), PA4 will actually transport us forward in time five years after the end of PA2 (2006 – 2001), where we meet Alex (Kathryn Newton), a young girl who begins to uncover a dark secret history surrounding the toddler next door, Robbie (Brady Allen).
