Though having essentially ditched the idea of taking "Mockingbird Lane" to series, NBC has decided to make use of the already shot $10 million pilot - they will turn it into a one-off Halloween special.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first episode for the troubled "Munsters" reboot will air sometime during the week of Halloween.
Stuck in development for two years at the network, Bryan Singer and Bryan Fuller were producers on the project which underwent numerous retoolings and disagreements over which direction the series should go. When the pilot was delivered it was said to be "below the network's expectations".
