As part of their fiscal year report through to the end of March, Ubisoft has confirmed that another “Assassin’s Creed” game along with “Far Cry 5” and “The Crew 2” are on the way with all to be released by the end of the first quarter of 2018.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says: “In 2017-18 we will see the exciting returns of Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, The Crew and South Park.” New logos subsequently released confirm “Far Cry 5” and “The Crew 2” are the official titles but haven’t confirmed if the rumored “Assassin’s Creed: Empire” is yet set.
Ubisoft is coming off a fiscal year that has seen the release of “For Honor, “Ghost Recon: Wildlands,” “Watch Dogs 2,” and “Steep” along with income from Q1 2016 titles like “The Division” and “Far Cry Primal”.
Expect more details about all the games at E3 next month.
Neill Blomkamp is teasing the prospects of a brand new experimental studio in the near future. The District 9 director has become known for his violent, often socially conscious sci-fi, sometimes venturing into monster territory. For a time, Blomkamp was expected to helm Alien 5, but Alien: Covenant director Ridley Scott recently said that a script was never even written. Blomkamp has no other specific feature film projects officially in production.

The first official trailer for Fox and Marvel’s X-Men universe set “The Gifted” series has scored more than 31 million views across all social channels in its first two days online.
The video racked up over 11 million views on YouTube and 16 million views on Facebook, in addition to views on other social channels.
The show follows the Strucker family: a suburban couple played by Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker whose ordinary lives are rocked by the discovery that their children (Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White) possess mutant powers.
On the run from a hostile government, the family joins forces with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive. The series premieres on Monday nights this Fall on FOX.
