Avengers: Infinity War May Include Scenes Set in the 1970s

It appears that Avengers: Infinity War is going to be featuring scenes set in the ’70s, according to a recent casting call. Anthony and Joe Russo’s upcoming superhero film unites virtually all corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, bringing together Earth’s mightiest heroes with the Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as many others, for the first time ever. Together, they’ll take on the Mad Titan Thanos and his Black Order.

The Russo Brothers began principal photography earlier this year, and they have been filming ever since, though some members of the cast have been busy filming and promoting their own respective movies: Spider-Man: Homecoming,

Walking Dead TV Shows & Preacher Confirmed for Comic-Con 2017

The Walking Dead, its spin-off Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher and new docuseries Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics will be featured at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2017. The annual multi-genre entertainment and comic convention will be held from July 20 to July 23 at the San Diego Convention Center and will also be featuring exciting panels joining the AMC series including Game of Thrones (HBO), Westworld (HBO), Legion (FX) and The Gifted (FOX).

More details emerge regarding the filming and format of the Coen Brother’s latest project. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs is a made-for-TV production and marks their first foray into small-screen directing instead of producing. There has been little information about the format and content for the project, but some recent news sheds a little light onto what we can expect.

Marvel Studios Has an Official MCU Timeline Scroll

While Marvel Studios may not be revealing the information to fans, the company has an actual scroll of events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for creators to reference. Even to diehard Marvel fans, the timeline of events in the MCU can be a bit wonky. Despite Marvel’s assurances that everything lines up, the lack of a cohesive story group like Lucasfilm has made things tricky. While Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has referenced Daredevil, the former seems contemporary while the latter seems to occur back around the first Avengers. Likewise, Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will take off right after Avengers 4, but Peter will only be in the next grade rather than having experienced a two-year gap.
