Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige has praised Wonder Woman‘s overwhelming success. It’s no secret that it was a long and arduous journey getting Wonder Woman onto the big screen. Warner Bros. had made several attempts over the years, with one of the most recent being Joss Whedon’s abandoned project from the mid-2000s. It wasn’t until Patty Jenkins boarded the project two years ago that things finally started to move forward, and the results were beyond what most people had imagined.

The highly anticipated Spider-Man reboot hits theaters on July 7, and Sony has been relentless in its promotion of the solo debut for Tom Holland as the web-slinging superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
