Disney/Pixar’s sequel Cars 3 opened atop the U.S. box office on Friday, with the Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me following in second place. The opening day turnout for director Benny Boon’s film about the iconic rapper was stronger than most box office analysts were predicting ahead of time, but not altogether unexpected.
