Jane Goldman has shed some light on the possibility of her filmmaking partner Matthew Vaughn directing Man of Steel 2 – although she’s not sure if she’ll be writing. We are now decades into a wildly successful cycle of superhero films and despite some bumps in the road, the genre seems to be stronger than ever. Warner Bros and DC Films in particular have a slew of new heroes waiting for their time in the spotlight, including Nightwing, Batgirl, and Gotham City Sirens. The first footage for the Rocko’s Modern Life revival has arrived, teasing the trials of the 21st century. Premiering in 1993, Rocko’s Modern Life aired for 4 seasons and became a defining cartoon for a generation of kids. Rife with satire on the early ’90s, the show followed a wallaby just trying to find his way in a world he didn’t quite get. With insane levels of absurdity and tons of jokes for both kids and adults, the series has held a fond place in the memories of many during its 20 years off the air.
