Oculus announces the first ever Marvel-based VR game, entitled Marvel Powers United VR, during the Marvel Games panel at D23 Expo 2017. Between the MCU’s continued box office dominance, the various Defenders-verse series in many ways serving as the crown jewels of Netflix’s original programming lineup, and plenty of successful Marvel-based video games on the market and coming soon, it feels safe to say that Marvel currently sits at or near the top of the pop culture world. The many big announcements and reveals coming out of today’s D23 Expo are only serving to add fuel to that fire.
