Ray Romano has joined the cast of Martin Scorsese’s mobster movie “The Irishman” for Netflix.
Brandt, the story follows Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran (Al Pacino), a mobster who carried out dozens of hits including the death of teamster boss Jimmy Hoffa (Pacino).
Romano will play Bill Bufalino, a teamster lawyer with ties to the mob. Harvey Keitel and Joe Pesci also star in the film which Scorsese, De Niro and Jane Rosenthal are producing.
Steve Zaillian penned the script and filming begins in August ahead of a release on Netflix sometime in 2018.
