A first photo is out of David Berry as fan favorite character Lord John Grey who makes his screen debut in the third season of Starz’s “Outlander” series which returns September 10th.
In the new season, Jamie develops an unexpected rapport with his British captor John Grey after the Battle of Culloden in 1746. Claire has returned to 20th-century Boston to resume her marriage to Frank and raise young Brianna. [Source: EW]
Leah Gibson (“The 100,” “Watchmen”) has scored a series regular role in the second season of “Jessica Jones”. Gibson will play Ingrid, a street-wise nurse.
Fans have speculated Ingrid was a code name for “Daredevil” enemy Typhoid Mary who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The new season debuts early 2018. [Source: Variety]
TNT’s comedic drama “Claws” has been renewed for a second season to air in 2018. The renewal comes just five episodes into the first season’s run.
“Claws” follows five diverse and treacherous manicurists working at the Nail Artisan of Manatee County in Florida. It has become the highest-rated TNT series launched since the cable network’s programming shift last year with 6.3 million viewers per episode. [Source: TNT]
Michael Uppendahl (“American Horror Story,” “Legion,” “Fargo,” “Mad Men”) has been set to direct the first episode of Hulu’s new series “Castle Rock” which will set the tone for the series to come. Uppendahl will also co-executive produce.
A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, this weaves an epic saga of darkness and light played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. Andre Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Bill Skarsgard, Jane Levy and Sissy Spacek star while King and J.J. Abrams will executive produce. [Source: Deadline]
