Hollywood is a town that operates on nepotism, where powerful operatives in the industry often give jobs, opportunities, and favors to friends and family. Sometimes, though, people in the same family just feel the same calling to be involved in the creative field of filmmaking.
In the days of old Hollywood, families would be dynasties, the closest that the US had to royal families. From the Barrymores to the Carradines, Hollywood acting families have been living out familial drama in the public spotlight for years.
Often, when multiple members of the same family are famous actors, one of them tends to be more famous or successful than the others.
