IT director Andy Muschetti explains why his Pennywise has a new look. While the advance buzz going into Muschetti’s R-rated, theatrical re-adaptation of Stephen King’s gargantuan novel has been mostly positive, one aspect that has drawn criticism among fans is just how different the new Pennywise (played by Bill Skarsgård) looks. This is no real surprise, as Pennywise 2017 looks almost completely different to the 1990 Tim Curry version that has since become an iconic horror movie monster.

The official Twitter account for The Walking Dead commented on the latest Game of Thrones episode. The penultimate episode for Game of Thrones‘ season 7, ‘Beyond the Wall’, accidentally leaked online ahead of its premiere and was pulled from HBO’s foreign accounts, but not before people managed to record the episode. Those who managed to stay spoiler-free on the highly-anticipated episode were treated to ground-breaking revelations for those who live south of the Wall.

That’s an odd thing to reveal, since when fans think of the quintessential Star Trek villain, the character that likely comes to mind is Khan, who clashed with the crew of the Enterprise in both the original series and Star Trek II.
