M. Night Shyamalan has met with FOX about Wayward Pines season 3. The writer-director is known primarily for his acclaimed horror/thriller movies such as Signs and The Sixth Sense, as well as his various critical duds such as The Happening and The Last Airbender, though many people may not know that he’s also dabbled in television. In 2013, Shyamalan worked alongside The Playboy Club creator Chad Hodge to adapt Black Crouch’s The Wayward Pines book trilogy onto the small screen, which premiered in 2015.
