Jamie Lee Curtis Confirmed for Halloween Sequel; Release Date Set
Jamie Lee Curtis is set to reprise her iconic role of Laurie Strode in next year’s Halloween sequel. The godfather of the slasher genre, John Carpenter’s original 1978 classic Halloween not only introduced a template for the faceless slasher killer in Michael Myers, it also introduced a model for all future scream queens in Curtis’ resourceful yet frightened Laurie. Curtis would return for 1981 sequel Halloween II, in which the infamous reveal that Laurie was actually Michael’s sister occurred.
