Marvel’s Star Wars Series Is Getting a Major Writer Change
After 37 issues, Marvel’s Star Wars comic writer Jason Aaron is leaving the series. He has been writing Star Wars since its inception in 2015. Aaron also writes Marvel’s Mighty Thor and Unworthy Thorseries and previously worked on Marvel’s Wolverine, Wolverine and the X-Men, PunisherMax: Kingpin, and Doctor Strange.
The Star Wars comics take place between the events of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. They feature the beloved characters from the original films including Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO. All of the Star Wars comics produced by Marvel are canon and keep the continuity of the original saga and current films.
