Chris McKay is very happy with  Warner Bros. and how it gives its filmmakers the creative freedom to craft their own films, especially those under the DC Extended Universe banner. The director is set to helm the already announced Nightwing standalone project, which will officially introduce Dick Grayson into the DCEU and will follow the character after he severed his partnership with Batman as Robin, and is now operating on his own.

Not much is known regarding the specifics of the film. No casting or target release date has been announced as of yet. That said, McKay has a strong opinion as to how he wants his DCEU project to pan out. Written by
