Jared Leto Tron reboot

Jared Leto confirms he’s involved with the TRON franchise reboot, revealing there have been discussions about continuing the series. Fans of Disney’s classic ’80s sci-fi thriller TRON were left disappointed when the mediocre response to the delayed sequel TRON: Legacy meant that further follow-ups were shown a game-over screen rather than a continue option. But rumors recently circulated that a reboot of the franchise is being planned, and that Jared Leto was going to be a part of it. Those rumors appear to have been substantiated in a recent interview with the Suicide Squad actor, as he responded to a question about the possibility of TRON 3.

At the time of its release in 1982, TRON was a groundbreaking film ...

The Weinstein Company has moved back the release of their period drama The Current War to 2018 amid continuing backlash against Harvey Weinstein in the wake of a bombshell New York Times article detailing years of sexual harassment allegations against the movie mogul. With longtime director Bryan Singer stepping away, the reins to the franchise and a retelling of the Dark Phoenix Saga went to Kinberg.

Kinberg has been involved with the X-Men franchise for years, serving as a writer on the main franchise starting with X-Men: The Last Stand and staying with it for X-Men: Days of Future Past and Apocalypse. ...

Kevin Feige Praises DC Films: ‘They’ve Figured That Out’

0

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had nothing but kind words to say regarding the current state of the DC film universe.  There’s no question that the DCEU (which apparently isn’t its official name?) has experienced a major upswing in public opinion following the smashing success of the shared universe’s fourth entry, Wonder Woman. In the wake of three widely divisive outings on the big screen, DC was sorely in need of a unanimous triumph, and Princess Diana of Themyscira certainly delivered, raking in over $820 million at the worldwide box office while accumulating an eye-popping 92% fresh score ...

Deadpool 2 Wraps Filming; Ryan Reynolds Jokes About Movie’s Title

Filming has officially come to a close on 20th Century Fox’s highly anticipated sequel Deadpool 2. While Ryan Reynolds technically first played Wade Wilson back in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it was not until years later that Deadpool finally got justice. Reynolds’ commitment to the character and Fox eventually giving the film a go following a “leak” proved to be a worthwhile effort, as Deadpool went on to become the biggest R-rated movie of all-time.

Following the record breaking success, it is no surprise to see the studio pushing hard for more from their violent and comedic star. His sequel has been one of their most important productions, and the additions ...
