Man in the High Castle Season 3 #NYCC Preview Teases Alternate Worlds
Amazon Video has released the first sneak peek at The Man in the High Castle season 3 ahead of the show’s debut next year. The critically-acclaimed and Emmy award-winning series, loosely based on the 1962 alternative history novel of the same name by Philip K. Dick, premiered in 2015 and essentially presents a what-if scenario. What if the Axis powers – namely Japan and Nazi Germany – had defeated the Allies during World War II and conquered the United States, and subsequently split the country’s territory across the Rocky Mountains?
The Man in the High Castle takes place in that reality, though some people are aware that alternate realities exist in which the Axis powers had lost the war – and they know that from either traversing across the multiverse and seeing the reality for themselves (e.g. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa’s Trade Minister Nobusuke Tagomi), or by watching ...
