Releasing today, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 provides fans with hundreds of Marvel characters across multiple time periods, as they work to defeat the time-travelling villain, Kang the Conqueror.

The third game in the LEGO Marvel franchise, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is based primary on the comic book source material – though certain characters, such as the Guardians of the Galaxy, take inspiration from the Marvel Cinematic Universe film franchise. The game is a direct sequel to LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, and isn’t connected to the last game in the franchise, LEGO’s Marvel Avengers, which only recreated the stories from the first two Avengers MCU movies. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 features an original story that takes player to a rich open world setting called Chronopolis, a place that combines 18 key locations from Marvel Comics.
