The Mutant Underground struggles to survive in a world without the X-Men in a promo for next week’s episode of The Gifted. As the mutants continue to fight off Sentinel Services, more problems arise as Eclipse (Sean Teale) is forced to make good on a promise made to his ex-lover, while troubling information is uncovered about one of their own.
The disappearance of the X-Men has put mutants in a bind, forcing them to fend for themselves against Sentinel Services, an organization tasked with hunting down and capturing mutants. On top of all that, the Sentinel Services has a way to turn them against each other, making survival for the mutants seem even more unlikely.
