An extended clip from Thor and Hulk’s Contest of Champions battle in Thor: Ragnarok is officially online. Thor: Ragnarok made a (Hulk) smashing debut domestically over the weekend, earning $122.7 million in its opening frame (adjusted upward from initial estimates of $121 million) to boost the film’s first week global tally to more than $431 million. So, in apparent celebration of the blockbuster opening, Marvel Studios is offering up one of the film’s key scenes.
Of course, fans knew from the release of the first Thor: Ragnarok trailer in April that the Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) gladiator-style battle was coming, but up until the film’s release last week, only select pieces of it were highlighted for audiences online.
