Suicide Squad director David Ayer has absolutely no regrets about working on the film. When DC announced their own cinematic universe based on their characters, their aim was to take chances on creative filmmakers, as demonstrated by handing the reigns to Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and Justice League to Zack Snyder. Unfortunately, it appears they don’t always follow through on that endeavor.
