Wonder Woman Director Makes TIME’s Shortlist for Person of the Year
Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is now on the shortlist for TIME’s Person of the Year. The acclaimed Monster director recently helmed the first live-action Wonder Woman movie, starring Gal Gadot as the eponymous DC superhero, which finally hit theaters earlier this year. The film was the fourth installment in Warner Bros. newly-formed DC Comics-based universe (unofficially titled the DCEU), and it remains the only critically acclaimed movie in the franchise. What’s more, Wonder Woman recently became Rotten Tomatoes’ highest-rated superhero movie of all time.
