Bryan Fuller & Anne Rice Team Up For Vampire Chronicles TV Show
Bryan Fuller is working alongside Anne Rice and her son Christopher on a TV show adaptation of Rice’s Vampire Chronicles. Paramount bought the rights to 11 of Rice’s novels in the series as part of what they are calling the Vampire Chronicles Initiative. Both Rice and her son, who is also writing the series, will serve as executive producers.
The Vampire Chronicles revolve around the character of Lestat de Lioncourt, a vain yet charming French nobleman who is turned into a vampire in the 18th century.
