Netflix’s The King Casts Call Me By Your Name’s Timothée Chalamet
Timothée Chalamet has joined the cast of The King, a movie about the life of young King Henry V that filmmaker David Michôd is developing for Netflix. This is the first project that Chalamet has signed on for since he received a Best Actor Oscar nod for his breakout performance in Luca Guadagnino’s Best Picture-nominated coming of age/summer romance, Call Me By Your Name. The King also marks a reunion for Netflix and Michôd, after their efforts together on the Brad Pitt-headlined Afghanistan war satire War Machine.
